With the opening of the Tillyville Art Museum just one day away, museum officials are baffled by the disappearance of one of the museum's most valued paintings, Clown Hair Falling. Museum director Ms. Salome Salmon says she has the museum's chief of security, a man named Krit, working overtime to solve the mystery. "I don't understand it," Salome told reporters, "I was dusting 'Clown Hair' only yesterday. It's a beautiful piece of work, a masterpiece. Clown hair doesn't grow on trees, you know? But I'm sure Krit will find it. If only I could find Krit."

The Tillyville Times urges everyone to be on the lookout for the missing painting. Anyone with information should email the Tillyville Times at Tilly@Tillyville.com.

With or without Clown Hair, Salmon says the museum will open on schedule. Patrons will be able to stroll through comfortable galleries and observe the works of Tillyville artists Dave Dziedzic and Leila Colbrese.

A special feature of the museum is the Guest Wing where art by Tillyville Readers will be displayed. The first Guest Exhibition is "Lighthouses." Readers who are interested in displaying their lighthouse pictures are invited to email their original artwork to Tillyville@Tillyville.com or send it via US mail to Tillyville, PO Box 58, Brookfield, IL 60513. For more information please go to Lighthouse Exhibit Information.
